No kidding...yikes. Well at least if that happens, I still have the other two. (picture Dr. Evil after getting hit in the kinigits by the meteor)

They just called me this morning and said that the doctor plays golf on Monday, and rescheduled my surgery for a week from today. Kind of bummed because it means three more days of pain, but since I suck at operating on myself, (I have the exacto blade scars to prove it) I guess I will just bide my time until then.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes and thoughts, I appreciate it.

Thanks Wayne! I can't wait to chase those dagnab kids out of my yard. For some reason they seem to all appear out of nowhere at the end of October demanding stuff for nothing. That scooter will help me keep on top of the situation.

He has to play golf on Monday? Couldn't they have lied and said he was double booked or something? Really makes you feel loved doesn't it. Your health gets put on the back shelf until this guy makes a par putt.

Re: Show of hands, er hand...UPDATED

Well, in honesty, the part about playing golf was my frustration leaking out. (This stupid thing is causing a lot of pain and keeping me from being able to be active, which plays right into my Ankylosing Spondilitis which is made worse by inactivity, thus it is a double whammy) The Doc is on call over the weekend, and doesn't do surgeries on monday after being on call since the good possibility of him working long hours on emergency surgeries over the weekend may have an adverse toll. The scheduling nurse overlooked that he was on call and mistakenly scheduled me for monday. She was very apologetic, and made a point to put me on high priority for Thurs....I wish it could have been tuesday, but I guess I can manage.

It does suck though, that I can't take any anti-imflatories between now and then, and my pain levels are through the roof. I am trying to find comfort in building more models, but standing at the work bench is proving to be too painful, as is lying in bed. I'm out of ideas at this point.
