cockpit speakers not working in my 420 da 2003
I've done the search, and tried a few items, the fuses in the amp. behind couch ,the mute switch in entryway , the cabin speakers are fine. Is there another inline fuse? Thanks for your help in advance guys. I love this site. Steve

Make sure your cockpit radio switch is on, just saying you never know. I had to replace my amp, the starboard speakers in m cockpit stopped working.

Based on the year of your boat you may have a Clarion XMD3 unit. If so, your low pass filter needs to be set to "REAR" to drive sound into the amp that is powering your cockpit speakers. To do this press and hold the "T" button for 1 sec or longer, press the right/left arrows until it displays "SW LPF", then press the up/down buttons until "REAR" is displayed. Then press "T" again to get out of all this.
If you don't have XMD3 or this wasn't it, do you have the DC breaker for your stereo/amps turned on in your cabin breaker panel?-- Bill

We have one of those in our marina and it's been owned by the same gentleman for over 20yrs. Rather nice design for the size boat but yes, he says it gets a little dicey in a rough cross chop like...
I havent seen one like this before
