Where is the best place for a VHF antenna?
Hey guys,
I want to install a vhf radio inside my sundancer.
Does anyone has a picture off a place where to put the antenna?
I thinking about a fiberglass white one. For example the Shakespeare galaxy.
But where is a nice place?
Thanks!!

The highest possable place. 4 or 8 ft extention too.
DO NOT CUT THE COAX , final ant connection using a swr meter for maximum performance.

Re: Where is the best place for a VHF antenna?
I was surprised to see a VHF radio is not even an option for your boat. That said I would suggest the typical location for a Sundancer, in between the Sundancer logo and Sea Ray emblem on the starboard side.
MM"Bail-outs??? Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed. Now we are trusting the economy of our country and our banking system to the same nit-wits who couldn’t make money running a whore house and selling whiskey!”

Thanks....I have seen some pictures with that location. I agree that is a perfect place for it.
I seems to me a good plan to put a VHF on the boat. I not going to drive alot to open sea, but it is a extra safety.
