Radar/chartplotter upgrade on 2001 380
We are overhauling our "new to us" 2001 380 Sundancer. We have four 3 options to upgrade radar and chart plotter.
1. Remove old GPS, remove old radar. Install Raymarine E7D MFD with sonar and raymarine raydome 4kw digital radar. This will be intalled where the old GPS was. Were old Radar screen was replace panal.
2. Remove old GPS, remove radar. Install Raymarine c97 MFD with sonar and raymarine raydome 4kw radar were old radar screen was. Move Auto pilot to old GPS hole to keep apperence nice.
3. Remove old GPS, old depth finder, and radio, remove radar. Install two Raymarine E7D MFD one with sonar and raymarine raydomw 4kw digital radar. This will mount evenly on new dash panal. Install new radio next to current auto pilot and replace old radar screen with blank panel.
Thoughts? All boating will be done on the St Croix and Mississippi rivers in WI and MN areas.
Good upgrades? bad Idea? Boat currenly has all orginal 2001 equipmentZach

Reason I asked is on iBoats.com forum, when asked about the Regal 2760/Sundancer 270 having the T4.3L V6, some people say sometimes planning takes times, and when loaded it might not perform great. :)
