Cost of Painting your boat
I am really close to restoring my 23 SR cuddy cabin and the only project left is the outside paint job. Could anyone give me a rough estimate what I might be looking at for a price, and what would be the best selection of paint such as Imron, Awlgrip or Alexseal. I have no clue of cost on a boat. There is a little fiberglass work but overall the hull is in great shape. I am going to winter down in Lake Havasu Az. and am not sure if I can get a better deal down there, as I live in Lewiston Id. I have not gotten any quotes from anyone yet. Thanks for your help.

Re: Cost of Painting your boat
color will determine some of the cost of materials
as will how much prep work YOU do.
the painting isn't terribly expensive but the prep work is and the more perfect you want it
the more $$$ in labor you will spend.
my advice to you would be get several estimates since they will probably vary greatly
and don't necessarily go to the cheapest...find a reasonable shop that WANTS to do it
and appreciates the project and you will get a better finished product.

Re: Cost of Painting your boat
Give spikedaddy99 a pm. He had his boat done with Awlgrip and probably will offer some useful info.
