I don't have the magazine in front of me so I looked at the article online. The online pics don't show a separate bar with tv, and I don't remember that either! Maybe they grabbed a wrong pic for the print edition and corrected the article online? Anyways, I don't remember that either so it's not just your memory if it was there!! :)

Re: New Style Express Crusier 37' Sea Ray Venture Aft Cabin Twin Outboards

I just read the Boating magazine review and they thought highly of it. The fuel mileage isn't quite as high as I had expected it to be. I'm not convinced that I have seen the word "commodious" used before - the word was used to describe the master stateroom.

Just saw it at the Ft Lauderdale show. One word... "Ackward". I was surprised with the deck. Not really a comfortable sleeper compared to a +/-37 Sundancer. Great day cruiser for a couple.

37 feet thats 30 feet of boat and 7 feet of swim platform i did not see value or quality in the boat. 400 k OMG my wife and I are looking for a 41 dancer with diesels used of course I will save 200 k and go with an older better design

Similar thoughts. Just not worth the size and enovation. In short, not enough boat for the money and the convenience outboard's offer. It's not for me...

There are a few of us that find this a great step forward in matching our boating lifestyle. Large cockpit entertaining area with all the cooking stuff up there as well. Just need a place to sleep down below at night - not a place to live in. Outboards for salt water life. Perfect boat for my wife and I, but far, far beyond my purchasing means.

Re: New Style Express Crusier 37' Sea Ray Venture Aft Cabin Twin Outboards

I think this boat is looking to bridge the gap between the current express style cruisers offered from Grady White, Boston Whaler, and Pursuit as well as many others. This price point isn't all that unheard of in the off shore fishing market. If you look at the larger express style outboard powered boats from the "fishing" companies they are trying to be more family friendly and still be able to fish. If you are looking to get out of fishing and stay with outboards this is a great boat if you want to maintain your needs of outboard power. I applaud Sea Ray for stepping out of the norm and trying something different. I hope it sells well for them.
I may be slow, but at least I am enjoying the ride!
