    Auto Shipping

Does anyone have any experience with auto shippers? I bought a car in Paramus New Jersey the week before Christmas and I'm trying to get it shipped to Washington State, and so far the broker I have used has left me with empty promises.
I'd like to deal directly with the shipper, but they're hard to find.
I also want an enclosed trailer as it's a new car. It's a 16 Ford Edge in case that matters.
And yes I flew to LaGuardia the 16th, and back out on the 17th. Quick trip.

If you need any local assistance, I live literally 10 minutes away from Paramus. I have bought about half a dozen on eBay and online and shipped using Uship.com. Some carriers are better then others , very few are great, they all over commit and under deliver as far as delivery times. Good luck!!
Again, if I can help locally feel free to reach out!

Greg, you might have Larry check with some of the local luxury car dealers to find out who they use to ship cars. They're likely to have qualified companies do their shipping.

I used Reliable Carriers to ship a car from Vegas to Dallas. Extremely well organized and professional. Zero complaints.

I just received a quote from Reliable, they're a lot more expensive than the other enclosed carriers, but I believe you get what you pay for so I'll call them Monday morning and talk to them.

Don't use Uship for anything call Reliable as suggested they cost a bit more but it's worth the money and inside not an open trailer. They may not have much available if you wait Barrett-Jackson starts in a couple weeks.

    Auto Shipping

For a good view of Uship try and catch a couple episodes of "Shipping Wars" on cable tv. This chronicles the adventures of Uship "elite" carriers. As a transportation professional I am astonished any of these clowns still have CDLs.

We cut the cord last year and don't have cable or satellite, but I have seen the show before. Those guys are something else.
