I'm looking to replace all my 12v 10w cabin reading lamp light bulbs with new LEDs on my 2003 280 Sundancer. The bulbs I have now are the bi-pin/bi-prong type - I think they are halogen and get really hot - part number 858886 (I think). I'm looking to keep close to the brightness & feel of the existing light as I will be using them mostly for reading. Does anyone know where I can buy the new LEDs and what information is needed when ordering them, i.e., part number, lumens(?), etc. Thanks.

I've had great luck with the LED's you can buy from Amazon (ie wicked cheap).

I'm a much bigger fan of 4000k color but you can also get 3000 in the link below. 3000 would be a good match to OEM.

I had good luck with these. They are warmer at 3000K

"G4" is the base .... I think ..... also sometimes called "bi pin"
Thanks! New to site so hope this reply is correctly done.

G4 is exactly correct for the base. I have used versions of both from Amazon on 2 different boats with no issues at all.

How do those LEDs fit into the base of the light I have a 215 weekend or 2006 I want to change all three of mine to LED

If they have the pins, it's just a press fit

Check the base on your current ones first because there's also this type that won't fit where the pins go

Any issues with wiring and/or fuses, etc.?

You shouldn't have to do any wiring and they should be much lower current draw than the OEM incandescent. Pull out old bulb, insert new bulb, be done. Aside from some fit issues with certain fixtures it's really a very simple upgrade.

10 4 as soon as I unwrap it I will, thanks
