Why not just put in a 502 crate motor , plenty of power there

"Kids" Are you trying to pull a role reversal on us right of the gate?

I think that is the perfect boat for Independence Day at the sand bar. As far as the repower, why not block off the transom and install a bracket with an outboard? That would free up a lot of storage space and cut some weight.

You may want to make sure those blue LED's don't prevent other boats from seeing your proper nav lights.

That's the first thing I thought about - did the bling obscure the nav lights. If so that's a no-no, from both a hazard and legal view. Sorry to be a downer.

PS - What do you kids think of the boat?

I also installed 40 blue LEDs under the rub rail so it "looks like it is floating on a blue cloud" at night...

And... A 3' Bazooka, 4 Infinity speakers, 2 Amps, a receiver, and another battery that pumps out "30 Thousand Watts"...!
No S__t!

When you're near it... You'll hear it!

I'll get some pics and vid when I can and post them...
It's Awesome!

Certainly the boat looks clean and well cared-for. The upholstery job looks good. A bit flashy for my taste, but seems well executed.

Where are you located? I would like to stay as far away from your sound system as possible - many boaters get on the water to be away from people and their noise. Please consider this - and that sound travels very far over the water - when enjoying your boat.

Hey Lazy Daze,
Hole Shot... No.

Hauling around the family and friends... Yes!
But the 3.0 is Dragon it's Wagon when going from A to B.

Soooo, If I am going to "Haul Assets", I will just have to tweak the 3.0, get the 4.3, or as they say on "Jaws"...
"You're going to need a bigger boat!" ;)

Hey b_arrington,
No Worries Mate!

I didn't order a 30,000 watt stereo, nor did I know it would be that powerful, but I won't be turning it up that loud any time soon... (Just because it "can" go that loud, doesn't mean it "does"...)

That said, I keep the stereo at a Low-Roar all the time, as we don't like it that loud either, and don't want to bother others... (or crack their windshield by playing Mariah Carey;)

My lights are "Safely Lights", so I can be seen in an emergency... (just in case)

Thanks for the input!

OK. Hole shot can be fixed easily. Top speed, not so much. Well, it's "easy" to fix top speed... in the sense that you just write a check :)

Holy smokes...

That's quite the machine! I'm surprised they're putting all that through a plain Alpha Gen 2 outdrive.

Isn't it? I was thinking the same thing on the Alpha - they never mentioned the HP, but figure it is way over 300.

No ships. We go out on the water for calm and quiet. When someone anchors next to us and either does one of 2 things, we leave and that bothers us. We try not to bother anyone. (the 2 things are massive profanity or extra loud rap music, or ANY music)

As far as hole shot, your 3.0 can provide a MASSIVE hole shot. You just need to do your due diligence. Mine would plane fast and furious with even 8 people aboard. Just gotta learn about boats.
