Not sure being a sponsor has anything to do with it. Ever since the last "upgrade" I have been getting blasted with ads. I know other people reported the same thing. I remember seeing lots of posts about it but (as I recall) no moderators ever responded if that was a "bug" or if it was supposed to be that way moving forward. Guess the ads are here to stay-for everyone.

Jason, what ads are you referring to? I only see an ad box at the very top, not onthe sides. I used to see them on the left side of the posts. MM

It doesn't really bother me (as long as there is not an embedded virus) but I think it is safe to say the days of "no ads for sponsors" are over. It is hard to say for sure but I don't recall any ads before the upgrade. It has been so long now though since the upgrade, I am not sure.

I saw the 404 yesterday on the home page, for some reason I am not logged in on the home page but when I click the forum button and the screen change I am logged in, Malwarbytes stopped that ip address yesterday several times as I was in and out of firefox and the CSR homepage is my FF home page. It had cleared up by the time I got home from work and tried from there. In fact from home I am logged in on the home page, and I see no adds either, at home or at work. I should say no adds other than the one at the top of the page.
