There is a marina (sorta) immediately south of Great Bridge (a mile or so). Almost more of a boat yard, but they do have fuel and some nice docks you can side tie to.
We have run Kent Narrows to just inside the ICW entrance to Norfolk in a day (wasn't bad) then overnight at a marina to the...
Second the comment on Albemarle Sound. Roughest segment of water we have ever been on in all of our boating.
Big time mistake on my part, not taking into consideration what wind would do to that Sound. I am thinking we are on a 60ft boat, we can handle some wind waves.
Big mistake...
Thank you, I know nothing about it.
I commented to the boat yard that I thought my bottom paint was good for while but lots of stuff on the running gear. Evidently my boat yard just discovered this stuff after its been on the market for 10 years.
I agree with the above poster, its up to the broker to take care of the issues.
I would have a problem with the broker listing the price different than what we agreed. The higher price may limit the offers received.
I checked with the boat yard, product they were discussing is called Prop Coat.

I may try it when I come out of the water in early June.
Several sites I visit daily. Some I log into, some I browse without logging in.
This is the only site that has this problem, so I am downloading and installing a product "just for CSR".
I have been a big fan of prop speed over the years.
Was at the boat yard a week or so talking with them about some upcoming maintenance which requires a haul out. They were telling about a new product which they say is next generation beyond prop speed.
Sorry I forgot the name of it, will...
I would assume your genset powers the boat similar to what the shore power would do. Once you fire up the genset, switch over to it, then make sure your charger is turned on.
First consideration, will the Marina your in allow you to extend. Some will, some won't. That might close down the discussion quickly.
Then there would be several considerations.
What are the conditions in the fairway... prevailing winds, any current?
What is the skill level of the boats...
