You might want to investigate further. On a similar vintage 370DA, once the port side passenger seat starts to "recline", it means the underlying wood seat base has seen a lot of weather and is rotting to the point that things are loosening up. Not saying that is the case but you might want to...
I am pretty much in the same boat as you when it comes to doing upholstery and canvas work for friends and word-of-mouth. Shipping is ridiculous. Best thing you can do is wait for sailrite to have the free shipping sale. You just build it into the cost. Lately, I am shocked at the price of...
From your picture, I noted you are using "sealed" as your battery type. Do you really have sealed lead acid batteries? AND charger indicates you are in auto maintain mode, which only happens when the charger has successfully charged and conditioned the batteries. Not sure how it would go into...
I have the same charger and reviewed the manual, and it says that Reversed polarity indication on Pronautic charger indicates that Pos and Neg on a battery are reversed (i.e. 12 V) not 120 VAC power to charger.
Reversed polarity at your incoming 120 V power panel indicates reversed polarity...
I didn't finish and i must have hit the post button... rest of the post:
Helpful suggestions -
-You have to take all tools /stuff with you and keep it in front of you. Once in there you cannot reach back for anything.
- Take with you:
Adsorbent diaper - put under the existing filter...
i'll give you my thoughts/methods as i have a 1998 370DA. I am able to change the oil filter. I am 5'9ish 185 lbs and do it by getting in behind the STBD side motor and then go in arms first over the STBD engine STBD side exhaust hose, far enough that i can see he end of the oil filter and get...
I wholeheartedly agree with the original post. I always thought of it like this: I enjoy all aspects of boating, not just what most people consider to be the fun stuff. I like the freedom of being on the water, anchoring out with friends or just wife and I, waking up and putting a pot of...
Just did both engines and generator a week ago. Not a fun job but it is manageable. I use a "suck bucket" in front of my shop vac. Suck bucket is a 4 gallon pail equipped with a 4 foot section of vac hose and a shop vac inlet connection on the lid. Hook the shop vac to the shop vac hose...
Thanks for this post. I had a similar problem, if i extend (open) the vent window too far, the actuator will not close. As i understand it there are limit switches at the full open position and full closed position that stop the actuator from going any further. I assume i have "overdriven"...
3/8" Tie Boss, or not beefy enough? Rated for 300 lbs.

I have a number of these and keep finding new uses all the time. Pretty cheap. Metal hooks appear to be zinc plated so stainless hooks would be a good...
Yeah i chewed mine up pretty good but they were still serviceable. I wrote on both of the fittings with a Sharpie "Reverse Threads" so next time i will see it and remember.
Mine is plumbed like Nater's also, so yes empty tank before working on. AND the inlet and outlet fittings on the pump in my 370 DA were reverse threads (Righty - loosey, lefty - tightey). This stumped me for a while and caused much anguish for me before i figured it out.
Interesting. Never seen this technology before. I read the description on their website, and it appears they monitor voltage associated with each panel you have (if you have sub-panels each panel requires a monitor). The voltage monitor looks for "micro-arcs" which can occur in loose...
I should have mentioned it also helps to remove the electronics dash panel (with GPS/Loran, depth guage, etc) to help get to the end of these conduits.
