1999 454 Mag MPI just quits - videos

I found one of a boat I worked on. Someone let an engine overheat. Both tubes after the risers were like this.

These are what I used. They are not USCG approved for use in a gasoline engine compartment. Nor are they endorsed by any association or regulating body for use in a marine environment. However, since they are waterproof I felt comfortable using them in the engine room OPT ILL33CB LED...

Copy that. If anything changes let me know. I replaced all of the fixtures in the ER room and all lockers in the cockpit. That's why I have some of the old ones laying around.

I've got some, but not sure how many. How many do you need? I upgraded to LED in these fixtures. I just used a 1156 LED bulb and it worked fine.

I had this issue. It was the hull-deck joint right above the swim platform. I re-sealed it when took off all of the rub rail and did the entire joint all around the boat.

Added cooling fans to the cockpit fridge compartment. Made a huge improvement in the efficiency of the fridge. Very quiet and rarely hear them. Fans: https://www.coolerguys.com/products/noctua-nf-a8-flx-fan-80x25mm-12v-3-pin Thermostat (Open 85F, Close 70F) ...

The seal is very similar to the original. The original was flattened and did not seal very well. The seal sticks to the underside of the hatch and seals against the lip that is molded in the cockpit floor that goes around the engine compartment. Yes, it did help with reducing noise. Yep...

Replaced the head sink, drain, faucet/shower, and shower holder. I did have to get an adapter to go from the drain to the overboard hose(Sorry, don't have a link for that. I think I got it at Home Depot). Shower Holder: https://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm?method=products_detail&productID=69...

Replaced insulation/sound deadening material and seal on the engine hatch. I used HVAC foil tape to seal the edges of the insulation. Getting the old glue off was difficult. Had to do a lot of measuring to get the seal in the right spot. The old seal never landed on the molded lip of the...

Creekwood is correct on what that is. However, it is only connected to the high water bilge pump(at least on our 1999 it is). Were both pumps running?

    QT of oil foil seal

You can get the valve covers off without removing the exhaust manifolds. Use a 3/8, 1/4 drive swivel socket and a long extension. You will have to remove the coil bracket/relay wiring and move the oil cooler line out of the way. It's tight, but doable. If your gaskets are the silicone variety...

1997 370 DA Canvas and Carpet Runners

All is linen Tweed color. The carpet runners are original from the factory and are in great shape. The windows and visor(front) are custom made and in good shape, but could use a good cleaning. The color is a little off from the linen tweed. The only rear piece is the slant back. The back...
