    Baltimore bridge collapse

Kudos to Anchor Bay East Marina for pitching in to help. Their Hard Yacht Cafe is a local favorite for tying up. https://news.yahoo.com/mile-key-bridge-collapse-dundalk-194000088.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

    2015 510 Fly - thoughts/opinions?

We almost bought one three years ago. We wanted a bridge and shafts in 50-55ish LOA, so the field was limited. Overall we liked the boat, but there were some things we were not thrilled about. We generally liked the layout. We liked the galley up and forward. We thought it made the salon...

    Baltimore bridge collapse

There is a marker for the inner harbor speed limit close to Fort McHenry. We run at cruising speed as soon as we get outside that marker, which is a ways before we get to the bridge. Maybe something different applies to these huge commercial vessels? They always seem to be running pretty...

Congratulations and best of luck with it. Looks fast even sitting still. Are you going to be running it on the Delaware?

Am I crazy?? Thinking of buying a Fountain go fast...

I've been thinking the same thing for a while. My first choice for a fast toy would be a Jersey Speed Skiff but a Donzi Sweet 16 or an 18 would be a blast too. https://www.yachtworld.com/yacht/2020-donzi-18-classic-9037736/

    Cruising up the Delaware River?

You're going to have to go through Delaware Bay to get to the Chesapeake anyway, so that's not really the issue. The problem is if you want to go up the Delaware River to Philadelphia. I'm not aware of a good marina on the Delaware River at Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Marine Center was...

Away from the boat for one Month

This. And I turn off everything electrical except the circuits for the refrigerators and battery charger. My AC strainer has a tendency to clog, sometimes after only a few days, so I keep the AC off unless I'm on board. I can tell by the sound it makes when it's starting to get clogged.

I've had good experience with these folks on other electronics repairs. Looks like they offer a repair service for the MAN displays. https://maxmarineelectronics.com/product/man-mmds-clc-6-3-marine-diesel-display-screen-repair-service-save-thousands/

    377 vs 8.1

The 8.1s were my favorite thing about our 2009 330DA.
