I just talked to the tech at the marina the other day. They just did heads on an 8.1 with 2500 hours. He said blocks were in perfect conditio. It all depends on maintenance done.

I think he took his ball and went home.

I agree with Stee6043, the compound will get any dull or oxidized areas broken down and you will see swirls. Then apply the Bubblegum polish to create the shine you’re looking for. Last year I compounded the entire boat including non-skid and then polished with BG. The key is to use their wash...

60 degree weather in Chicago yesterday before winds shifted from the north. Here is a pic from in front of Planetarium last night as the sun was setting. No signs of thugs or migrants, just a pleasant evening with family at the exhibits.
