Hello, I see you have a 99 340 Sundancer and had to have some rot repaired on your deck. I am looking at a 99 340 as well with a soft spot on the deck. The owner has some estimates to repair, but I'd like to cross check before moving forward. Could you share the size of repair you had done, what was done to repair and the rough cost? Any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.

North Shore Marina hired a canvas guy from Tiara Yacht several years ago who was outstanding. He did the canvas on our boat when it was being built. His last project at NSM was a new aft curtain for our boat. It was perfect. He has health issues and retired.

Who did your canvas? The GH area is in a bit of a talent drought now as there have been some retirements at the best place to get work done. With Sunbrella, you will always have mist inside during a hard rain, but it is not unpleasant. Seams should be rolled and surged on the inside.
