Hi, looking for the easiest way to replace my trim tab switches … there are 6 tabs on each rocker and power jumps to each…
They have push on connectors which are in bad shape…
Bennet Hydraulic system with sea Ray controls
Thanks

Take a picture of all the connections, from multiple angles, then correct the funky connections (using the 1/4" connectors with sealing shrink tube on them), then change the switches, one at a time. Pictures will let you verify connections.

I would put a dab of grease on each switch connection blade to halt future corrosion.

Thanks.. 1/4 inch connectors? Are you talking the female connectors the push on to the switch tabs…

Crazy Fix. The pump and solenoids would work when I put 12 volts directly from the battery... but not 12 volts from the controller from a wire a ran.
So I feed another 12 volts from under the dash that energized the pump and solenoids
and got the trim tabs to work by connecting my new power source with a 15 amp fuse and all is good.

on further thought, I am guessing that there must be a second source of ground Since there are two batteries... I know there is a connection between the negatives with the big cables. But it has those extra posts and maybe its not tied to the one where the positive feeds certain items
