Our stupid F'ing state government

I went back to the range yesterday to try out the Hellcat at 10 yards. Well, mostly it was to try ME out at 10 yards. I only fired 20 rounds total, here's the best of two targets. 10 rounds, timed fire at 10 yards.

Not bad for an old fart.

The Hellcat is a great firearm!

Nice! Looks like one tried to get away from you.

Yeah, I hesitated too long on pulling the trigger, my hand started to tremble a bit and when the gun did fire I knew right away I had shot a flier.

With this gun, if I try to do a real slow squeeze of the trigger it seems as though the trigger just takes forever before the gun fires. I always used to teach cops that when the gun goes off it should be a bit of a surprise. That way you're not as likely to jerk the shot. I was just toooo slow on that one shot and you see the results.

Like I said, I'm trying to get ME used to shooting this gun. Still some work to do.
