You St Clair guys always skeptical of any wave over 1 foot
On PBS there's a show called "TATTLE TALE SOUNDS: THE EDMUND FITZGERALD INVESTIGATION". It shows today on Detroit PBS at 11:30 this morning, but I'm sure it will repeat.
Interesting investigation into the Fitzgerald sinking by a guy named Rick Mixter. He's written a lot of books on Great Lakes ship sinkings and always comes up with an interesting angle on them and always tries to find some linked folks to interview. He also does interesting presentations at the annual Great Lakes Shipwreck Festival.

This is what those Selfridge Warthogs (Thunderbolts) carry, 30mm auto cannon. It has to be close to 18" long. On display at Shelby Mission BBQ. By the way, great ribs there.
