Alrigh guys, another dumb question...

Don't forget that as newer engine's develop advances in oil also go hand in hand. I use what the manual tells me to. Period:mad:
 
You can still get high zinc oils but if the cam aint flat now I can't see it going flat once it's broke in it's good to go usually at least for street cars it always was
 
Why a high zinc content. Most motors are hydrolic roller so no need for zinc. IT HAS Started again
The older motors have flat tappets and not rollers so they need the zinc.
 
They make Zinc additives that can be added to any oil, I use it in my 396 all the time.
