Good afternoon. Had something g new happen today. I have a 1988 270da sundancer. Had her 12 years now. After pulling up to the beach today, and shutting off the keys and blowers and dash power switches, I had a warning buzzer from under the dash go off. Mind you everything is shut down. Any idea why this would happen? I found it to be a silver box under the dash. Is there a gas fume sensor on these boats? Like I stated, all power was off.

Please help.

You'd have a gauge on the dash if you had a fume detector.

Describe the box better (markings)? Picture?

I got one, hate it. If boat doesn’t start in 4 seconds the alarm starts screaming due to no oil pressure. Would like to bypass but i been told if i do the boat wont start. i wish i knew if true.

For my friends boat, we just unplugged one end and it was fine.
