  • Hello. I am in search of vinyl seat replacement for a 2006 Searay Sundeck that has been discontinued by Searay. Would you happen to know or have any recommendations on who might have some or a match for that same color? Thank you.
    Hi Nehalennia:

I'm a new boater owner of a 1999 240 Sundancer. I want to charge the batteries (3) using my shore, home ac power. My battery selector switch has 3 positions.....What position should it be on? Also, do I need to turn both the AC panel on and the Inverter switch on?

    Thank you ahead!

    Hi Nehalennia,

There's a selector switch located inside a cabinet with a clock like face in the rear of the boat. The switch has 4 positions: 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. I need help figuring what position the selector switch should be in when starting, when boating on the lake, when parked in the driveway, and when charging the batteries?

    Thank you!

    Todd,
I'm viewing some old vids and have read references from other members regarding a heater that you installed in your boat. I'm curious, is this a heater that runs off the closed cooling system or is it something different? Your reference to Mo asking you to turn it down has got me thinking that my "buss" type heater isn't putting out enough heat. It's cranked all the time, and we're not in shorts an' t-shirts.

Many thanx for the videos. they're a great way to start the day.

    Regards,

    Chris
    Hello
i purchased 6 of your stainless steel engine vents last year, i absolutley love them!!
on my 390 EC as with most of the sea rays from my era we have port window rings that are made out of plastic
my question is could you make those out of stainless steel? I know they are curved and probably more complex than the engine vents.......
if you could let me know either way or advise me on where to ask next i would greatly appreciate it
    thanks again for your time,
    larry
No worries. I ended up ordering the 1250 because it could be shipped to my house by Tuesday whereas the 1240 wouldn't be available for 2 weeks. It was a little more expensive than the 1240 if bought directly from ProMariner but less expensive than the 1240s sold on 3rd party websites. My impatience usually makes me spend more!

How did you route the wires for the helm control from the engine compartment to the helm?
    Hi
I replaced the original ProMariner Flyback 20-3. I installed the Pronautic 1240 myself. It wasn't too tough. Sorry, I didn't see this post until now.
Good morning Todd, Did your boat come with the ProNautic Series 1240 with the remote helm control? If not, did you install it? If so, was it difficult to do so? Our Pro-Tech died and we are considering replacing it with that 1240 with the remote helm control. Thanks in advance!
    Todd,

It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife on the docks for Kenney Chesney. We had a blast. Hope you did too. Also hope your trip to Canada was fun.

    Hi Todd,
It was good meeting you yesterday in Andrews Bay. I did find the secret compartment in the mid-berth.

I was amazed at how simple it was to travel in and out of Canadian waters.

I had thought of getting with Nexus or one of the other services to expedite passage but I don't know how much time I'm really going to save.

My oldest son and I spent 4 days aboard and had a great time!

    Thanks Again.

Did the factory get back to you today. If they didnt its because they are at a boat show this weekend. The 5.7 manifolds we have in stock ready to mail. That was a 5.7 manifold ?
    Todd,

Long time since I have had a chance to get on here and take a look around! Work has been crazy!

I was wondering if you had an input on where I could get sliders for the top track of the cabin door...called my dealer today and they said SR no longer makes the parts.

I spent all day Saturday removing the helm and cabin door...I did get the bottom repaired, but I am not able to find the sliders above to fix the top portion. The helm and door are still detached and I am losing my mind.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Corey
