This story right here gives me the shakes. Shows how things can go from 0 to 100 very very quickly. Whenever we head out our primary rule and first safety check is everyone is responsible and knows exactly where their PFD's are at all times...
For a few season's only one of my grid heaters worked. I never noticed a difference in smoke between the 2 so i removed them both. I believe there is also a sensor to the transmission that cuts them off after a certain rpm. So they normally only run at idle when air temps are low (early spring...
Quick mock up of the new mount. Aesthetically I think it would look better and more balanced if I swapped its location with the gps unit. However I think it would perform better where it’s located.
Seems starlink just dropped a flat residential model. No idea on availability yet.

Anyone looking to part with their interior carpet runners? Currently waiting on a quote from Gioia Sails to replace but figured i'd ask here to see if anyone has some that were never used or in good shape. I'm not a fan of the feel underfoot but with the kids and soon to be new pup we need them.
yes this is for the macerator. the stem is stripped to the point the only way to use it is with a vice grip. I may just leave as is and carry a vice grip to open and close on the few occasions we can use it.
Trying to remove the stem from the Apollo thru hull. Based on the diagram it seems the stem is just held in with a gland nut that i've removed and a stem seal. Slowly trying to work at it but doesn't seem to be budging. Any one with experience with these? Trying not to remove the whole thru hull...
I'm sure he'll make whatever you want. However I did provide him with the mount from my old red port Wi-Fi booster. He had to form the plate to match the contour of the the starlink then weld on the post. BTW that starlink backing that you sent me did the trick. Thanks again for that.
Speaking of starlink i just got my updated fabrication pics from @MasterFab. Looks like he wrapped up my mod to mount my starlink to the arch. Can't wait to start hacking away...:)
The boat was hauled yesterday so time to start fixing the crap that broke over the season. First on the list is my depth sensor seemed to have died. Not sure of existing model but it only does depth and its the one mounted centerline in the bilge. To the starb side there is another airmar unit...
The plug is a 1/2 npt fitting and I had to reduce it down to take the 1/4 npt sensor. if you read up on Seaboards documentation of this motor there are all sorts of ports that are plugged off and not used in our application. So far i've added sensors for boost, EGT, coolant temp, transmission...
I was able to remove the pump on the port side without too much of an issue. I did remove the exhaust tube this past winter while the boat was out of the water for another project. with 2 people its an easy job. Not sure of water level in there though if its in water. The starboard side you...
I hear you but why not. It was little effort to add them and I was bored...hahaha. You forgot to include broken thermostats. Honestly I never trusted my analog gauges but after changing my coolant and thermostats they are spot on so now a little redundancy doesn't hurt.
Post #1456 was underway and yes the readings were in the 150's. My earlier post #1446 was at the dock. I did test the sensors in hot water prior to installing so I do think they are very accurate. However I've been trying to understand this flow chart from the seaboard site as I agree that the...
