I would have no idea what someone would charge in your area, took me about a week working 4 to 5 hrs a day plus materials; new rubber trim and silicone
Front windows? if so not a hard job, you can most lightly get the rubber trim from TaylorMade but to make sure its the right one go on their web site then order a sample piece. The one I thought it was wasn't so glad I ordered sample pieces. If you need some advice pm me
I don't know the difference between the fuels just what the delivery driver said, but getting fuel from wholesaler sure saves money! Marines around here charge $4.50 to $5 a gallon, saved about $300 last time I fueled boat up.
I got my own docks behind house and have a 275 gal tank which I use for off road diesel for the boat and it gets filled up by the wholesaler. I get low make a phone call and they come fill it up, last fill up about 6 weeks ago was $2.91/gal, so it saves a little money. I get fuel oil for 2 of my...
Red dyed diesel is off road whether for boat, farm or off road use and isn't taxed highway taxes, its red so if DOT pulls you over on highway and inspects your fuel tank and its red they know you ain't been paying your highway taxes and the fine isn't small with possibly confiscation of your...
Thanks for the replies, the boat is in N Carolina at my house down there so I'm trying to figure out if this can be done as I need new canvas and zippers for the bridge and never take top off anyways so looking to change to a hardtop.
I have a 1998 400 Sedan Bridge and would like to replace the bridge canvas with a hard top and wanted to know if that boat ever came with a hard top and/or is there companies out there that make them. At this point just trying to find information and even picture of someone else who has done...
Fixed the pop up adds now takes 20 to 30 minutes whenever to log into then 5 minutes to go anywhere on the site. Don't know how much longer I'm staying here but I'll never pay again for a membership!
Could it possible be the front windows ie; between window frame and boat or between glass and window frame. Had leaks in my boat and finally traced them to both of the above issues.
Its not hard, going around the out side frame is easy. Going around the glass and frame is harder and you need to remove all the rubber trim which you can get from taylor made then remove all the old sealant. Did mine right before the last tropical storm here in NC about a month ago and not one...
The grey pipe is not pex its poly and the inside/outside dimensions are different that pex just by a little. It was used in boats, RV's and modular housing and was banned back in the 90's because chlorine would eat it up from the inside out. Most insurance companies will drop your home owners...
Your right the glass doesn't have to be removed as the glass is set in the frame on foam then is siliconed in and the trim is cosmetic. Its not a hard job and removing the old sealant was a simple job, the hard part was recutting new trim to fit.
