    Stainless Thru Hulls

In case you go this route, Spyder brand hole saws enable you to use two hole saws simultaneously on the same arbor in order to enlarge an existing hole that is too small. They are available in store at Lowe’s, online at Amazon.

    Starlink

I’ll suggest using hardware that supports WireGuard and you’ll never use another VPN. It’s compact, secure, kernel-native now in Linux, available on iOS, windows, etc. If your router is Linux-based, it’s likely able to run WireGuard. Most large VPN services now also support it. Easy to...

Mag 350 MPI won't reach full rpm

So it seems at least one drive is not original to the boat?

    2008 AXIUS - Gen1

FYI the alarm is literally an electronic backup beeper for a heavy truck (dumptruck). Many Sea Ray boats use that same part # for the "axius alarm". Find a commercial 12VDC "truck backup alarm" and you'll have what you need. And then you'll promptly begin searching for ways to mute/silence it...

    310 Sundancer Thread (2007 & newer)

Sorry, I do not. Also not certain if the original Sunbrella material is a standard Sunbrella color.

    310 Sundancer Thread (2007 & newer)

I reupholstered the panels with white marine vinyl and surface mounted the previously back-mounted speakers. This eliminated the need for any mesh material and ended up looking as good in my opinion. Other years and models have been done similarly from the factory (that’s where I got the idea).

    Mystery Boat

Commonly known as “staples” due to their shape. Google “swim platform staple rails” for fabricators.

    07 kohler 5ecd

I have a set of fuses for a 2009 5ecd that I no longer own. They’re still in original plastic bags. Have nearly thrown them out many times. PM me an address and I’ll send them to you free of charge if you want them.

    Insurance Issues

Interesting. I’m in the southeast US (inland, non-coastal, no hurricane territory) but the policy quote is a Fortune-500-employer-provided benefit (hence the purported group policy discount). There is no qualifying criteria (or even location awareness) other than the underlying policies must...

    Insurance Issues

I agree with the concept, but as a matter of clarification, Chubb is currently quoting $3M personal excess liability coverage (discounted via group policy) at ~$750/yr. Like nearly everything, prices are way up...still something to consider.

    New generator suggestions

My unit is a 2021 6.4 kVA FP. It does indeed have a 2 cylinder Kubota Z482 engine. Their datasheets don't advertise the variable speed (not sure why), but it is most definitely variable speed as they have a fairly sophisticated LCD control panel for the helm that displays stats/errors/winding...

    New generator suggestions

The Fischer Panda diesel units run at a variable RPM based on load. I think it ranges from 2100 to 3200 IIRC. This also helps with fuel efficiency. With approx 80 hrs now on our FP, I’d recommend it if buying new/diesel.

Sedan Bridge 360 parts (looking for window, cabinet, counter top, etc)

You can call boatoutfitters.com. They were the OEM for the Corian countertops in our 2009 310. Unfortunately, their website shows their capabilities and production products, but nothing of who/what they were the OEM for. Call or email them.

Sold the cruiser.....now hunting twin outboards.

This is where we are now…twin outboards are my new favorite. All glass cabin (no canvas) is a close second. Not a perfect boat, but it’s working for us so far.

non-skid gel coat repair/ pattern duplication

See this YouTube episode for the process and magnitude of work. These guys are “qualified” glass guys and yet it still seems like PlasDeck/plasteak may be easier.

    windlass bow controls?

Unless the wind is blowing when I raise the anchor, I typically will use the bow windlass controls. If wind/current are present, I’ll use the helm switches so I can maintain position (using joystick/throttles/etc) as the anchor comes off the bottom. Conversely, I almost exclusively lower the...

TV Splitter Location 2009 330 Sundancer.

My splitter was also “mounted” in the large cavity accessed by removing the main electrical panel. It was only found as part of removing an earlier generation of electronics (CD changer, etc).

Looking to purchase a manta shade

That’s what I have. AFAIK the manufacturer appears it may no longer be in business. Regardless, I don’t need the one I have so send me a private message here on the forum and I’m confident we can work something to get it to you.
