    Engine hour question. 2005 / 390 Sundancer

I had my tachs (with hour meter built in) replaced and have, in fact, had trouble with one of the hour meters continuing to run after the engines have been turned off. Like others have said, the reading from the ECU is correct and reflects only actual run time.

2006 40 DA - Water in aft bilge

One of my slip neighbors was getting water in the same area on his 2007 40. He could not identify a source inside the cabin and ultimately recaulked several areas on the exterior of the boat. That seemed to solve the problem.

    Shore power configuration

What power options do you have at the supply end? You may be able to use a "50A 125V Male to 2-30A 125V Females" or "50A 125/250V Male to 2-30A 125V Females" Y adapter connected to two 30A 125V ShorePower Cordsets of the appropriate length to hook up at the boat. I think you will find two...

On the Sedan Bridge the terminal block is behind the power panel. Mine stopped working briefly, but simply wasn't getting power.

    sheets

I was in the same situation about a year ago and someone on this forum recommended: www.comfortcustombedding.com They were great to work with and had the template for my boat on file. The sheets fits perfectly and are very comfortable - more so than the ones Sea Ray used to sell.

Just a thought...do you have traditional style cockpit carpet or a woven vinyl? The factory carpet had a very unique smell when wet or damp.

I would think unscrewing the water line(s) on the input side of the fresh water pumps and letting the water drain to the bilge would be your best bet.

Check the wire connections on the back of the speakers. One of the connections on mine vibrated off a few years ago. Reconnected and crimped...all good!

    Sea Ray Bed Sheets

Many years ago I bought sheets for my 400DB from what was, at the time, SeaRayWearables.com. They were on the pricey side, but were comfortable and fit great. It is time for a new set and Sea Ray no longer sells sheets. Does anybody know who the manufacturer was?

I have started getting some water in the storage area under the port bunk in the VIP stateroom. The center bilge (under the starboard bunk) is bone dry and the windshield has been resealed. I am guessing it is coming from either the port light in the stateroom or working its way back from...

I had this exact problem several years ago. The port light in the shower needed to be rebedded...a fairly quick and painless job. Once that was accomplished, the leak promptly stopped.

Replacing CruisAir STX16C-410A - SMX II panel

There is an adapter cable that allows the SMX II to work with newer AC units without running wires. I used one for my upgrade and it works perfectly.

Make sure it is clean and roll it up in cotton bed sheets. Works great! Be careful storing in the dock box during the summer. On my last set I wound up with the imprint of a zipper molded into one panel after an extremely hot day.
