Ok... now back to the topic at hand.
First of all, my wife and I have been to FLIBS 4 years in a row and the Seattle Boat show for the past 3 years in a row. Why? We are looking at retirement at some point in the next couple of years and want to be sure we are seeing anything and everything...
Very hot there this year! We flew down on Saturday and attended Sunday and Monday.
Sea Ray did a very nice job this year! I do have to say, the 400 is an impressive boat. Lot's of room for a boat of this LOA and beam. Ditto the flybridge (seating, amenities, etc.). I am now a fan of the...
Would like to know more about your 470 preference. We drove the heck out of the 470 when at the 2010 Sea Ray event at Merritt Island. It handles like a sports car. However, I've always loved the 480/500 cockpit and helm which is why I was looking for more 510 pictures.
We are looking for a...
Thanks Frank. Just what I was looking for. Yes, after DTS everything else seems a bit antiquated. Interesting comments about the interior roominess (or lack of). Looking forward to some interior shots...
Looks like a lot of fun this past weekend at the SR Homecoming. We almost went, but had a other obligations pop up.
No matter, I was really interested in seeing some detailed photos and reading first hand accounts about the new model. I don't have the time to go through both threads (now...
Todd is spot on. Less boat traffic and calmer. So, you may have to put up with some showers here and there - regardless, it's not so cold as to be uncomfortable.
I think there is also one in the head medicine cabinet - or, am I imagining that. Reason I say this is when we took delivery of our boat, we had the same issue (no vac). When the dealer came and checked it out, the GFI was the issue.
One more thing...open up the cabinet where the vacuum is housed (the actual collection tank) and look to see if there is a switch in there. Also, check all your outlets with GFI's to be sure they are not tripped.
It "should" work in either mode. Obvious statement, but be sure you have your shore power and/or gennie switches on to whatever source you are pulling from. You should see the amperage needles move towards the right.
The key is to have your "outlet" switch on (switches in the generator/shore power part of the panel). You have to shove the hose in pretty firmly. Twist a bit and, if it goes on and off, clean the contacts like MasterFab says.
We stayed at the Sundial one year at Christmas. Great hotel. Right at the base of the gondola. Everything (restaurants, rental shops, etc.) was very short walk from there.
To be honest, I never use a wool pad since my finish has never been that oxidized. Wool is great if it's got mod to heavy oxidation. Dampening the pad, wool or foam, helps keep the product "moist" and spread more easily- especially in the first few applications with a clean pad.
Maybe try a...
