I keep one of these complete units on the boat as a backup.

Sorry for the late response...I am so happy that I installed the new lock. I'm at the boat three, or four times a week, and absolutely NO issues at all! Great lock.

I replaced the float, and all is good.

Happy New Year!! Just installed a wifi antenna, and router kit. This new system allows all three of the TVs aboard to stream "wirelessly" all the same content that I pay for just like at home.

Can you see where the heater plugs in for 120 volt power, and where is the heater located in the engine bay?

Looks nice, but I wonder how much abuse the EVA foam decking will take when having to move either seat to open a engine hatch?

My port seat sits back about 1" compared to the starboard seat. I made the cut lining up with the back of the starboard side.

I believe we have the same salon sliding door. I did not remove the OEM taps.

Thanks! I don't store anything in front on the generator, and I do agree with you about what a PITA it is to roll up the carpet. I'm going to cut my flooring around the hatch to the generator as well. If you have a picture, I'd love to see it.

Is everyone's helm seat elevated about 3" higher than the port seat?

Thanks! Cutting the slot was a challenge, I don't remember there being a template for the slot. We used a hand drill, and a Dremel tool with a few different attachments. The new lock works fantastic!!
