Try a little bleach ( cup or two) and a lot of water. Scrub the bilge & rinse
Then scrub a second time with orpine bilge cleaner

Greenport town marina is Mitchell Park. The benefit is you are in the center of town, nice docks and it’s reasonably priced. The downside is boat wakes tend to roll in all day long on a weekend and the current sometimes can make docking a bit tricky.

It looks like the screw heads are almost exposed. Try chipping away the old zinc with a screw driver then use a vice grip pliers on the screw heads.After removing the screws take a wire wheel on a drill ( or a wire brush). and clean up the contact point between the zinc and the sea strainer.
