Suburban 2500 or Excursion. Anything else would not be a good idea. Will it pull, probably but it wont be fun. Will it stop? Probably not. Handle well, be safe?- not a chance.
Correct, or rather no stated limit.
It may not feel like a Yacht but it does carry the NMMA Yacht Certification. You can find lots of information on this. This certification starts in the 26' LOA and up.
Sea Ray used to have International "sister" model numbers that were closer to LOA. The...
I have found it is much easier to just upload pics to photobucket and link to them in posts here. The pic import tool here is easy to use but it is very picky about size and format. It wont let me upload half the pics I try to.
If the foot pedals will not work either, it could be the Windlass control box mounted under the windlass in the anchor locker. Make sure both battery switches are set to ON as well.
I would start here. There was also a place that used to advertise on CSR that claimed they sold the interior vinyl. I don't recall the name.

Handling issues with that generation 260DA come up quite often. Dave S was able to help many people learn how to handle that particular boat. Above is a thread with some valuable information he provided.
Just FYI- I just rephrased a line in my earlier post to be more clear that Rusty told me NOT to use any kind of adhesive sealant for the shoebox joint. The way I had it phrased before could have been taken either way. It was late! Good Luck on your project!
I used a myriad of plastic scrapers to remove the old caulk so as not to damage the gelcoat, used some cleaner wax and compound and did final clean with acetone. Looked like new when I was done. (see pics in the thread I posted before) Hopefully your boat has the original caulk like mine did and...
Definitely do not use any kind of "adhesive" caulk like 4200 or 5200, etc. to seal the deck/hull joint; it needs to be able to freely flex as much as possible after dried. Adhesive sealant dries harder than regular silicone sealant. Sikaflex 295 is appears to be listed as an adhesive so I would...
I think they are known to fail much faster for those who boat in sandy areas. So not necessarily a bad sensor, just a result of the boating conditions. I never had a problem with either of mine in a twin engine boat and logged hundreds of hours over almost 6 years lake boating, rarely in shallow...
Helping a friend with a possible clogged or bad Pitot on an 04 Sundeck. I cant easily see where the Smartcraft Pitot sensor is located. Looks like it might possibly be mounted to the bracket on the side of the trim pump but didn't crawl all the way in to verify. Figured I'd ask. I thought all of...
I would try to find the OEM Manufacturer stamped on it an go from there. Many of the Sea Ray all round NAV lights I have seen from this era are made by Perko.
Its a bulb with a weird size European base. I could only find one place that sold them several years back but I noticed they no longer do. They were expensive too. If I can find an extra Ill let you know.
