Your best bet for one compatible would be Lowarance, Simrad or B&G because Navico is now really close and compatible with Merc.. I have a SIMRAD and got back every features on it, I even removed my VV4 for a VV Link and it works really well.
Hi Rob,
I had the same questions back then when I sold my Chaparral to buy my 310. I could have kept my Garmin 7612 since the dealer wasn't giving me more for it in the Chap.
After reading and talking to a lot of people, I went with SIMRAD for compatibility purpose. What I can tell you is that...
Hey Guys,
I searched Magic Marine Tow and haven't find anything but if there is already a thread about this, I am sorry.
Owning a 310 Sundancer 2014, I was looking for a solution to be able to tow a PWC safely behind the boat. Obviously, the 310 can't take it on the swim platform so I came up...
I think Quebec are the only ones who haven't signed the commonwealth so basically they are taking a lot without giving as much in return, it could explain why other are pushing them out. Also the constant fact that Quebec is threatening to leave even if they couldn't be autonomous by themselves...
Sorry if it was unclear (poor English again :x) but I was not comparing the countries at all, I was just sharing my experience where two different countries (France/Canada) with nothing in common except their political choices are taking the same direction. Agree that France is in his final...
I come from a country where socialism is everywhere, in every mouth, every gesture, almost every ideas... In this country, you can't say you are proud of your own country, if you put a flag of it, you are a nationalist and/or a racist depending of the mood, when dining with peoples, you can't...
Just before my SeaRay I owned a Chaparral 290 Signature (31 ft x 10 ft) and I removed the arch to put the new hard top from the 310 Signature 2018. Removing the arch was no big deal, you just have to unbolt on both sides. Sometimes it is not really easy to access though. Putting the arch back is...
Wow thank for those real life informations ttmot. I was hoping to plug them directly in Smartcraft, but it make sense to go through NMEA2K first then through the Vesselview Link and finally in the S
I really need some sort of level indicator because of my dash and trims tabs switch looks like...
Hi JFF,
a. Nitrogen everywhere – What have you experienced the difference being between nitrogen or plain air-filled tires?
I experienced first hand for nitrogen in the tires. When I was in Florida, one tire was air filled and the difference was obvious with the five others. I was barely able...
You can have the tabs levels indicators on the Vesselview, something like this below, where in the center are the 3 engines trims levels.
P-TAB and C-TAB are the trim tabs
I just need to know which parts I need from the trim tabs to the Smartcraft Network in order to have them displayed.
Hello,
I wanted to know how to get the level indicator for my Trim Tabs in the vesselview.
Do you know if the parts required are from Bennett or from Merc ?
Also, is ATP compatible with Active Trim from Mercury ?
Thank you
Hello guys,
I was wondering if one of you is able to see some numbers in their Vesselview about their genny ?
I am able to open the genset menu in the vesselview but I am unable to see any numbers.
Thanks.

Thanks Chris, just for you to know, everything works as it should be. On the right display every alarm or informations is showing up from Smartcraft network. I am able to send the auto routing route from the screen on the left to the precision pilot, that was my main concern and it works.
I...
Model router is a Cisco ISR C1111-8PWA, the plug is kind of special, it is a 4 pins plug like this (but not this one) :
I am not even sure I can find one, I will have to order a complete power supply kit from Cisco. Which is why I wanted to plug it in an inverter, to avoid cutting the power...
Unfortunately I don't have any cigarette lighter near so I will have to go from the 12 volt on the radio, to a female adapter, to a male, directly to the router or through a small inverter, I am not sure yet.
What I like with the inverter is the ability to have a regulated output to the router...
