Trans fluid was just changed 1/2024. It's likely the cooler/seal failed. MarineMax is getting involved now as the seller has the platinum passport warranty on the boat which is an 18.
I‘m I the process of surveying a boat and the starboard transmission gear has water in it. The lab couldn’t give an accurate reading of any metals due to the water. What should I do? Walk away or demand exactly what from the seller?
I have a deposit on my boat but as part of the contingency for the sale to go through the buyer wants to pay a captain to run my boat 10hrs so he can get oil samples. Anyone heard of this? It seems ridiculous to me. Boat is in the northeast so it has brand new oil since it’s wrapped on the hard.
Anyone have an idea when MarineMax will start to sell the Williams Jet Tender lineup? The deal is supposed to close 3/31/24.

This cannot be the correct information. There is no way a gas powered 39/40 is cruising at 30mph at 3200 rpm’s. A 340 with the same motors doesn’t even do that.
Looking at your vessel view Zeus doesn’t really make much of a difference in economy or speed over the shaft drive version. I always thought it did and that was a major benefit of having it. 2350 rpm I’m doing the same speed and same gph and same load.
