I stated that wrong. The onboard battery charger is always hooked up to the batteries. The lights on the onboard battery charger (ProTech 1240i) would not illuminate or charge the batteries from shore power or generator. Nothing on the onboard charger (ProTech 1240i) were ever disconnected...

I have a Sundancer 380 with Mercruiser Horizon 8.1S engines and have a knocker sensor alarm on the port engine. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the engine but appears that the sensor went out. Does anyone know the location of the sensor? Thanks,

No, I haven't changed it yet, but the rattling stopped on its own. I will still change it on my next service.
