Terminal 1 is marked btown/grey, terminal 2 is marked white/purple. The one pictured is bad. I only found out because a dockmate could hear it click but...

    Swimplatform hydraulic exchange

One of the main lift rams has a bad seal. Hauling the boat for weeks in season is not an option. Wondering if there is anyplace that can send rebuilt rams with core exchange, then I send my old ram in. Repair could then be done in a day. GHS is not answering the phone so they sadly are not a...

1 or 2 color bottom paint?

Having all bottom paint stripped off. Will be getting two coats Pettit Trinidad. I have read of using a different first coat color so it shows through the top coat as it wears. Do many people actually do it that way. I don't see many examples in the yard. Pros and cons? Thank you in advance.

    Best windshield sealant.

It has been mentioned that OSI QUAD MAX in black does well as a windshield sealant. However no one including amazon has it stocked. I can only find OSI QUAD, not maxi, at Lowes and it does not list glass as a bonbable surface. I have used Dow 795 on framless ports and wonder if that might be a...

Has anyone had experience with marinco eel power cords? I need to replace one of my power cords and have read the eel cords have a larger diameter head. I wonder if there are issues fitting it through the cord port on the transom. Would not be good if the plug did not feed through the opening...

    Swimplatform submerges

My 400 Sedan bridge has an extended hydraulic swimplatform that extends about four feet. Often times it is awash with water splashing up and forward over it as the picture shows. Is this normal or cause for concern? Once up on a steady plan it is up out of the backwash.
