    60 Sundancer Master Bunk

Hello everyone! We've recently purchased a 60 Sundancer, the Master bunk/bed is electric. I've read the owners manual and cannot find the operating instructions or the location of the controller (if there is one). I lifted the bed frame manually and saw the lifting/adjusting mechanism. This bed...

Looking to get into a 510 Sundancer

I’m a USCG 100 Ton Licensed Master and relocate and deliver boats, where in the Midwest is the boat going? I am currently moving a 2019 Searay L460 from Chicago to Charleston SC. via the inland rivers. It may be alot cheaper and easier to move the boat on its own bottom. I’m available June 1 if...

Silly 2004 Five Hundred running lights question...

Take a look at your switch panel located at the helm, the dimmer switch will adjust the guage backlight. If it doesn’t, check the switch connections or it may be inoperative. I have the same year & model. Bow Tie

SlingTV for TV and Sports on the Boat

Hi, Yes, I did it. I installed a WiFi antenna and booster with a high speed router. I also changed all my TVs to “smart TVs”. If you don’t install a Wifi antenna you probably won’t be able to stream fast enough because typically Wifi shared by everyone in the marina. Bow Tie

    overheating

Check your circulation pump on your engine, check your exhaust that plenty of water is coming out. The water coming out of the disconnected raw water hose should be a huge amount of water, is it? Assuming your coolant level is correct, is there coolant circulation in the heat exchanger? I’m...

Engine hard starting after setting few hours

Everything in this kit you’ll use except for the large fuel filter and fuel line, the 502 uses the filter and line. Otherwise, you should be good to go. The pump gets installed between the tank line and fuel water separator. I installed them on the inside of the stringers by cutting the fuel...

Engine hard starting after setting few hours

Sure, no problem. Your inline fuel pump in the cooler feeds the fuel to the rail. When you have vapor lock (air space between the fuel line and fuel filter) your fuel pump cannot create the 39 psi (or 43psi depending on the engine) it needs to run the engine and the engine stops. Basically, it...

    New to boating

Congratulations on your new Searay! A lot of great advice has already been given, one really important thing that you must know. Learn everything about anything on your boat. Don’t wait until something breaks, learn your systems, your engines, everything. You’ll find that you will be saving...

Both engines died at the same time...

I’m reposting this for those who have vapor lock, I posted it previously on another post. Been there, fixed that! What you have is vapor lock, it happens after a hot engine sits in a hot engine compartment causing a “heat soak” where the engine actually gets hotter instead of cooling down. I...

Engine hard starting after setting few hours

Been there, fixed that! What you have is vapor lock, it happens after a hot engine sits in a hot engine compartment causing a “heat soak” where the engine actually gets hotter instead of cooling down. I tried opening the hatch, no good, it still would not start. Hitting the key on and off didn’t...

    Smartcraft System

Don’t waste your money on Smartcrap SC5000, invest in a Vessel View. You can’t fix the SC5000 when it breaks, and it will eventually. And factory support is almost non-existent. I’m on my second display and when this one goes, I’ll replace it with a Vessel View system. Also, before you buy into...

Question for those with larger yachts who are not geographically close to their boat.

Where on the west coast is the boat? I have a yacht manager take care of my boat when I’m away. I could pass along his number and info if your close to Naples. By the way, having a “dealer” do this is very a expensive way to handle your problem and you don’t get someone who cares, just someone...

    Washer/Dryer Remove ??

It sure seems they build around it, when I removed my washer/dryer I had to take out the entire inside frame that the door was attached to. By doing that I was able to slip it out, VERY TIGHT FIT. I would call Searay Tech support and ask them to email the instructions for the washer/dryer...

2006 Sea Ray 380 cockpit tv replacement.

Usually the seat has tabs that get screwed into the fiberglass. Taking out the screws allow you lift the seat “up”, there are bolts that go into holes on the top. Or, seats can also be secured using screws in between cushion seams/bolsters securing it to the fiberglass. Sometimes very hard to...

2006 Sea Ray 380 cockpit tv replacement.

My Wifi is a groove antenna booster connected with a high speed router. I use it with my smart TVs but it has nothing to do with the Glomax antenna. When I enter a marina, I connect my WiFi to the marina Wifi and boost the signal allowing me to steam tv. Hope this helps. Bow Tie

    Mood lighting

My spoiler lights had a built in dimmer, if you don’t have a built in dimmer it’s easy enough to install one. You’ll need the correct dimmer and a new Carling rocker switch. Both can be purchased on Ebay or some other site. Bow Tie

    Isotherm Ice Maker

Tripplite APS1250, Group 27 deep cycle battery, 12vdc charge indicator built into panel above ice maker. Check the wire guage chart to use the right wire guage based on your length & amp draw. I also used a breaker mounted close to the battery. Example: if the ice maker draws 120 vac and 3amps...
