Update. Even parked under trees the moth balls seem to be working. Not sure what they're doing to the carpet in the boat, but the cover seems to be safe. No new holes or gnaw marks on the tape I used to cover the existing holes. Thank u all again. Still may buy an airgun

I could be wrong but I believe those faults are for features you don't have but the boat is wired for. I have vessel view and get the same steering and sea water temp alarms. After some googling thats what I came up with.

Dash cams are pretty inexpensive and store to SD card. You would need a 12v power source (lawn mower battery?) but could be a cheap alternative.
