We leave our boat in the water all summer. We are at a yacht club on Lake Mich and it’s nice to be able to jump on the boat at any time. Every spring we touch up the hull with bottom paint, then in the fall pressure wash and the crap comes off pretty easy.
Never mind about my question, I went to the Defender site. I’m actually looking at water based paint, easier for cleanup for one, and you don’t have to thin it. Pettit Neptune for 135.
You actually like the damn snow? The same snow that brings out the salt wagons? That make a road look like the Bonneville Salt Flats and rot out anything way prematurely that rolls on a highway or road? Wow.
I pretty much go by what GypsumJim said. And along with what we said hang a couple damp rid bags in the boat. It’s unbelievable how much they’ll suck up!
Although if you do it just right, you can reuse the shrink wrap. We are on our 2nd year reusing. Just isn’t exactly super tight, but as long as it’s protection from the elements, it’s all good.
