Hi Ray, You may also consider my option for replacement keypads: www.digitalmarineproducts.com I was previously username pyro posting earlier in this thread and since then developed a drop in replacement. Can you clarify what year your 290 is? But be careful with changing part numbers, since...

I would like to announce that my "Digital Marine Products" drop in replacement EIM keypads in woodburl finish are now available. Blink Marine Electronic Interface Module (EIM) Replacement

Not all those connectors are bussed through as you might expect, so it is completely normal to have no voltage on some outputs. Double check the connector that the keypad is actually plugged into, and you should see +12V. Any chance you lost track of which cable plugged into which connector?

    EIM Keypad Prototype Available

    Left side buttons not working

Hi Mandi, I am the manufacturer of those aftermarket keypads pictured in the post (thanks Spark600!). My advice is to turn both batteries off and then back on while watching the keypads. Power cycling will re-initialize the communication link. That alone could solve the issue as the keypads...

    EIM Keypad Prototype Available

Hi All, I hope you all can handle this :) This is pyro. I am switching my profile name to better brand my keypads so people can refer to them as DMP keypads which is short for Digital Marine Products. This sounds more professional, than what once was a random anonymous username. You can...
