Got a picture? That would help. I'm not familiar with the BCG, but the other 3 look pretty similar as they use the same engine, but the generators are different. BCGB is 1800rpm, the other 2 are 3600 and the E is for electronic ignition.

The CO detectors are connected to the MDB in the DC panel which DOES go through the main switches, but no switch in the MDB to turn them off otherwise.
