Hey everyone,
The padding on my SeaRay Sundancer 280 swim platform has spots in the middle that are starting to appear bubbled up because the adhesive has come undone. Any suggestions for a repair on this, or would I be better off just replacing the padding all together? If so, any...
Two weekends ago while making a trip across Mobile Bay, I heard what sounded like screws being pulled out of a plastic hole only to stop and find the hull to deck joint being pulled apart for most of the width of the swim platform. I did have a small dinghy and motor on davits on the platform so...
The lip under the access port on my swim platform is big enough that the screws can be inserted from above. This would allow untangling a rope from the prop without using the mask and fins. Don't countersink them too deep as it seems like foam covered with thick gel coat.
Hey, has anyone got the Hurley H2O Davits with a 10” Extension on a 380, 400 or 410? I am guessing the platforms are about the same depth. I’m trying to figure out if I will have enough space between my Dinghy and the Transom to step through. In other words, is the 10” Mount enough to give...
I managed to smash my rear swim ladder on the dock... it's a "High-Seas" model and fits really well... ive done a fair bit of the google and i cant seem to even find a manufacturer of this... my boat is a 1991 350 Sundancer.
If anyone can point me in a good direction that would be great.

New owner of 2011 195 Sport and want to apply Sea Deck foam to the swim platform. Wondering if the platforms are the exact same dimensions on the 2008 model year as the 2011 model year? Sea Deck has the correct kit for the 2008 but nothing for the...
Hello, I’m considering a 2017 460 Sundancer, and am wondering if a Sea Doo will fit on the hydraulic swim platform?? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide!!
For anyone in the Baltimore-Washington Metro, Hydratec in Baltimore is your place to go for hydraulic and machining work. This is not an ad but a personal recommendation. Last year they rebuilt the hydraulic cylinders for our swim platform and this year they rebuilt the hydraulic pump. The...
I have a 2001 290 Sundancer with twin 5.7’s and B3’s. Looking davit info to mount a mercury 10 foot dingy with wood insert flooring on the swim platform.
Davit type, swim platform reinforcement, etc. thanks
Up for sale is a 1998 Sea Ray Sundancer 270. This express cruiser is listed as 27’8” long, but is 29’10” overall with the swim platform. The boat has a 9’2” beam and a draft of 36.” This specific boat has been expertly and rigorously maintained, with all repairs and upgrades logged via receipts...
Hello,
I'm considering purchasing a new 330 Sundancer, and I like the look of the teak cockpit and standard swim platform. I don't want the teak to turn gray. If I get this option, will I regret it because of the amount of work required to keep it looking good? I know this is a subjective...
Hi,
I need to install chocks on my hydraulic swim platform. I've been researching my a$$ off and have found that SeaLift sells their flush mount chocks separately. They promote that they can easily be made flush when you want to use the platform. But, "easily" and anything related to...
On Labor Day weekend the top two welds of the starboard bracket broke causing the bottom of the bracket to punch a hole thru the transom. Pumps could not keep up so I did a soft grounding and got my passengers off. Tow Boat US invoice of $68,750.00 salvage fee because we used one of his...
Hey all. Just refinanced the ol' 290, so I'm going to fix what's broke on her. If you have any of the following please reach out to me at 512.699.9200 or taylor@taylorperkins.com:
Full canvas cockpit enclosure set with rods
swim platform, or the part that goes over the ladder (at minimum)
top...
I am experiencing a problem with the remote control unit for my swim platform. Does anyone know where I could obtain a replacement? Batteries are good, it is the down function that does not work reliably.
I would assume (but not sure) there would have to be a frequency match and I have no idea...
I recently bought a 1994 Sea Ray 330 with I/O and I desperately need a swim platform. I really do not care what shape it is in, as I have a good fiberglass guy that can fix it(if it is fiberglass). I am fine with one that has been used and taken off, or a new one if it is a reasonable price...
Just picked up my new boat from the local boat dealer here in Bend Oregon .
From what I can tell its a Seville ?
Ran flawlessly on its maiden voyage yesterday .
Anybody know where I can get a full swim platform to attach to the transom ?
My buddy at the helm.
