“… a dark skinned male…”

Anyone following the incident in Grand Rapids, MI? Another cop/black guy shooting. I'm so sick of the media and the crap they push, pot stirrers for sure...white cop kills...another black man killed by...another tragedy, will there be justice.

I watched all the videos you can see how it all went down. You can see the guy get shot and it isn't anything like it's presented sometimes in the media. Here's an example of their crap, it shows an outright 'execution', it is nothing at all like how it happened.

I haven't fully researched it, but from the video I saw the dude was on the ground with the cop on top of him. Not quite sure why deadly force was needed in that situation.

But I will say, these cops need to be smarter. If a dude is going to run from a simple traffic stop, why chase? Why risk your career, your life, your livelihood, and the well being of your family over some scum bag. It aint worth it. From what I understand this officer had only 7 years in. He's young and his life is basically ruined no matter what the outcome.

Before they were on the ground, the guy had grabbed the cop's taser (its on video) and he was still holding it when they went to the ground. You can hear the cop say "drop the taser" and "let go of the taser" several times before the shot was fired.

And that’s why I hesitate to carry. If I pop the sucker it’ll be all my fault. Not the black dude.

Last Sat there was an amber alert locally for "a male with brown eyes and brown hair" who abducted his 1yr old child from the mother after murdering her violently with a knife at her home. Easter morning, my son called me, I found out there were 6 kids in the house, three of those were my great niece,6 and my two great nephews, 3 and 8. It was my nephews (his cousin, one of our biz partners) ex wife. She hooked up with a black thug after the divorce a few years ago. I am now biased. He had a history of domestic violence charges.

My concern is the kids, period.

That being said I have pulled my weapon 3 times in Atlanta, each time they backed down. If they hadn't have they would be dead. I have years of LEO training from my younger days,SWAT,quals, etc.

In the same week, same county. 2 black thugs arrested for a KFC (yep-the chicken place) armed robbery (hungry?)

One black thug assaulted a woman and stole her car, then died in the subsequent accident during the chase.

Another murder/abduction by a black thug.

All in a week.

Every day it happens-pray it doesn't get too close to home as it has with me.

Not to mention losing a nephew 5yrs ago to a heroin OD.

Reading this back through, I probably should not post, but will anyways...
