I'm wanting to trouble-shoot why my Gen-set blower switch located on the electric panel in the cabin isn't working.... The helm blower switch works fine. Is there a fuse for the electric panel switch? Perhaps it is a bad switch.... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is this a bilge blower switch on your 12v cabin panel?

( something like this -- 300 shown )

Open the panel and put your meter on it. If power is going to it, try jumping it out. If it works by jumping it out, switch is bad. If no power to it, got to find out why. It is a 12v blower.

I've been down this road before. first advice, BE CAREFUL before you start probing wires on the cabin blower switch. It is tied into the starboard keypad at your helm, through a small black box located under the helm on the starboard wall. it's black and has 6 grey female plugs for deutsch connectors (In my case the lower 2 and 1 upper plugs were used). The P/N on mine from my 2004 280 was 91YY5068-1b [DNA 0314]. It's about 5 inches by 3 inches.

In my case that was what had failed. I was able to order a replacement through my searay dealer, if I recall correctly it was around $200.

Thanks. I'll see what I can do with the help of my mechanic.

Thanks. I'll get with my mechanic and let him know this info, too.

Hello. Were you able to find a solution? Mine is doing the same thing. I did notice a breaker in the engine bay panel popped. I reset it, but no fix. My helm switch on the pad is working

If the breaker popped I suspect the blower motor it bad or short in wire to it

Are your switches momentary? If so the switches do not directly control the blowers. They control the blower control module. If one switch turns the blowers on and off then the module is good and the issue is most likely in the switch or it's wiring. When the blowers are operating the lights on both switches should be on. If there is a fault in the blower module or one of the circuit breakers has tripped the lights in the switches will flash. It's the little black box in this picture -
