I have a leak in my cabin and can't find it for the life of me. It is freshwater and the water gets absorbed under the aft bench seat in dinette and the carpet by the steps into the cabin.

I have searched everywhere and can't find it. Quite frankly I am worried it may cause me to lose my mind! It's not a lot of water, but its enough for the carpet to be damp.

Anyone had a problem similar to this? Any ides? Thanks

Check your AC drain. Mine had a slight leak causing some water outside the mid bilge pump.

I had a 2001 290AJ that had a leak from the opening window above the dinette. The water would then find it's way down and show up right where you describe. I was able to tighten the window and it stopped the leak.

Thanks for the feedback. I tightened the dinette port hole that was loose and poured some vinegar down my clogged A/C drain. Looks like it was both. Hopefully that will stop the leak.

I had the same problem on my 2005 300 DA. When it was raining rain leaks were following the inside trim of the windshield and the holes you find each side of the dash to bring this water out where not sufficient. I just made a sillicone barrier to force the water in the holes and solve the problem.

I have had the leak with window above the dinette as well, but have also had leaks from the bow rail stanchions. I had a big leak from water coming in from the area around the bow hatch. It makes me wonder if they completely skipped the caulking when the boat was assembled.
