It's all rode. Some is chain, some is line

I second the question re where to buy?
I’d like 250’ of 5/16 so I don’t have to replace a seized finger bolt!

Don’t forget the weight of 250’ of chain. Your 44 can handle it, but others may want to get the weights and do some calculations prior to buying all chain to make sure your bow doesn’t become top heavy and your anchor locker can handle it.

I knew I was going to get called out for using that term wrong. Last time I said 200’ of “rope” some one corrected me and said there is no “rope” on a boat.

+1. Defender was the cheapest chain source when I made my switch. Make sure you compare delivered price per foot when shopping. 200'+ of chain is not cheap to ship, typically...
