At what temp does the high temp alarm sound?

I have a 2007 260 5.7, and would like to know at what temperature does the high temp alarm go off? I have heard all sorts of temps, 200, 189, 175, I would love to know for sure. Thanks

I would too I would think it's around 200 but I'm not positive someone else will chime in

On my previous raw water cooled 5.0mpi i overheated only once being on muffs due to insufficient water flow . If memory serves the alarm went off at 80 deg celius what would be 176 fahrenheit .

If memory serves me correct it will give you a warning after your heads are warped and your engine is toast.
