Best Soap for Regular Cleanings?

So now that the boat is waxed and ready for,the season, what soap do you guys use for regular cleaning....that doesn't remove the wax?

I like Meguire's Boat Wash. I wax in the spring and use it to wash 3-times/month on average and wax is still in great shape in November.

So I'm curious. I have been using a chemical guys wash and wax soap which is ph neutral. Use a foam cannon to carry away the dirt and rinse. Wonder why more people do not use something like that vs paying the extra for a marine product?

I use this as well - my dock neighbor has used it for years and had me try it-seem to work better than other boat soaps I tried. I have never tried mequires. Orpine smells good too:smt001

Google it. Works like that super foam at the car wash. Just covers everything and pulls most of the dirt with it.

After spending $40 a foot on my boat to have it washed and waxed I am listening to the detailer! He recommended that I use the Meguiars Flagship Premium Wash and Wax. It costs $22 a bottle but works great.

Reopening this thread, I've always loved Orpine for regular weekly or monthly washes. What do others think about orpine?

I just bought a gallon of turtle wax soap from Costco. If it works it can stay on the boat.. if not it can go to the garage. I think this stuff is all the same… in this day and age I think soap is already invented.. nobody can have superior soap and keep it a secret
