I have a 1981 Boston Whaler 130 Sport that I'm selling. The boat is currently in the SE corner of Washington. It was totally restored when we bought it about 5 years ago with all new wiring, new gelcoat, new wood seats and helm, battery on/off switch. The boat has never been in salt water and has always been stored under cover. $7,500 negotiable

Length:13'
Power: 40hp 2-stroke Evinrude
Electronics: Garmin Down Vu Sonar/depth finder/GPS.

To see photos of the boat go to the link below....

Looks great, Mike! If it was on the east coast I'd buy it now!

Out of curiosity, what would coast to coast shipping be on something like this?

Hell, you could just drive out here and tow it home. Let's see, it's about 2900 miles to Taxachusettes so about 5800 round trip and if your truck got 20mpg that would be about 300 gallons of gas and it's about $5.50/gallon so that's only about $1600. Heck, that's probably cheaper than shipping it. :D

Oh, wait, I forgot food and drink and hotels. It'd take you about 12 days at 500 miles per day so figure $150/day for a hotel so there's another $1800 and figure about $75/day for food so there's another $900.

Now we're up to about $4,300. We may have to rethink this.

Do you deliver?

Why not hook it to back of your motorhome? Take a trip to deliver, meet a lot of great boaters along the way.

Football Fan, we got rid of the motorhome. My wife was just too uncomfortable traveling in it.

When you consider divorce vs get rid of motorhome it's easy. Getting rid of the motorhome doesn't involve attorneys!

I ended up selling it for the exact same price I paid for it but I did put 4 new tires on the back axle. We used it for one several-day long trip so I guess I just about broke even.

What happens when you are married to an attorney? I can tell you all about it, not here though. The things I see…

Hi Mike -- curious how many people you've had on board (max) ?

It was rated for 6 people but we never had more than 4.

BTW, it sold a couple of months ago. I almost cried when it left because that was our last boat (we had 3) and that signaled the end of my boating lifestyle that started ~70 years ago. :(
