Not quite a center console but my parents have a Robalo R235 that has a small cuddy with a head, room for 6, and good for fishing. It can also be closed in for weather much easier than a CC.

Check out SeaPro CC, my Sea Ray dealer sells them. Not in the market but I did a walk around on one and it seems of nice features and quality.

CC's are nice once you get out of the 20' group, but in the 20's there isn't much room to sit and hang out at all. Pretty much standing room only. The Dual Consoles are much better for that when there is the 20'group. To that point, the Whaler's are super nice for doing both. Granted fishing with four guys is tough, but for two it's perfect and it's a great hang out as well. Friend has one and loves it. He's a big into fishing and doesn't have an issue at all.

I always wanted a CC. Then, I decided I was going to do it.

Key Wests are nice, but I didn't like the Yami because of limited service dealers in my area.

We settled on a Boston Whaler. Wholly Mackerel, what a boat. We factory ordered it and the whole process was the best boat purchase I ever made. Besides that, this is one heck of a nice boat. It is IDEAL for fishing, but we use it for everything else as well. It is now our dedicated vacation boat too.

What amazes me is the handling in rough water and the low fuel consumption.

Ours is the small model, but the same platform is available in many bigger sizes. We have other boats in the fleet, but I can say this will be the last one I ever sell.

Will take a look for sure. Thanks!

Having owned several bass boats back in the day, I am very accustomed to the weather in the south. I always carried a rain suit. On our inland lakes, it is very easy to run for cover or beach it in a thunder storm to get out of any lightening. Also very easy to pull into a vacant covered slip for a few minutes. Cold weather and rain…not going….thanks!

We had two 13' Whalers, a 2010 and a ~2005. We took the 2010 on a 60 mile round trip on Lake Coeur d'Alene and got right at 10mpg running near WOT. It was lighter than the older one and rode better because of the hull design.

Ya get what ya pay for. I bought used stuff in the past, but now I don't go boating to save money.
