One of mine is sticking, it's pretty old so I am looking at replacement. Does anyone know what one I need? The parts catalog doesn't specify and neither does the service and installation manual, at least that I can see...

I have separate Uflex throttle and shift levers, if that narrows it down...

Thanks!

I think I'm beginning to understand - the control end of the cable needs to fit whatever throttle lever you have and is determined by the manufacturer (UFlex in my case), but the engine end is an interchangeable SAE standard (a 10-32 thread basically).

The answer for anyone else who needs it turned out to be SeaStar Teleflex Xtreme 3300 Control Cable and a Mercruiser adapter kit which contained the red pivot, the brass U clip, and the red throttle body barrel. Was a direct swap and it's solved my issues nicely.

Throttle cables are the same at each end (10-32) and in my case the Uflex levers have a little bronze square end fitting that screws onto the end of the cable, and the adapter kit handles the engine end.
