Dinghy dock

$750 at my marina. Told they have a wait list as well.....

WOW !!... Last I looked they were under $3k to buy

Yes they are! But you still need a place to put them. This marina utilized an area that wouldn't normally be used for larger boats and has roughly 25 of them throughout the marina. Smart on their part, but unbelievable pricing.

I called our SH marina just to see what they charge, 2-3K depending on the location of the lift. My dock neighbor sells the ez-dock. He says they are 4-5K installed.

This works too! Normally we back in and for short runs we un-clip and drop it. Then when we back in the Admiral hops off the boat and un-ties the dink and we scoop it up. We have upgraded to a Hifield 360 GT w/ tall transom and 30 hp Merc.

So I put my name down for a dinghy dock. It’s basically a seadoo dock but a bit wider. I got a new hard bottom dinghy last fall and thought not keeping it on the platform would be nice because I don’t always want to take it with me and it would be easier to cover, launch etc. The marina called today and said I have one and they want $700 for the summer. I swear I was told $500 when I put my name on the waiting list. I paid it but geez….. that’s a bit rowdy.
Am I just getting old and cheap or is this the going rate?

Macray was $750 last season. I believe it went up to $800-$850 for this summer.

New marina owner told me $700 is going rate, im kinda grandfathered in at 250 but if i move the next guy is paying 700.
What do you have pictures of the owner with someone other than his wife? ;)

I was 150 under previous owner. New guy bought marina this year and raised it to 250. When i asked wtf, thats when he told me about the going rate. Got to realize in my marina there is no waiting list for it. So he may think 700, but if he dont take my 250 he gets nothing.
